BETTY ANN FOWLER PERRY
Mrs. Betty Ann Perry, 66, of 320 Third St., Shannon, died Thursday night (Dec. 6, 2001) at the residence. Mrs Perry was born in Fulton County, Ga., on Nov. 28, 1935, the daughter of the late John Hugh and Daisy Louise Parker Fowler. She was a homemaker and was of the Church of God Faith.
She was preceded in death by a son, Donnie Glen Perry, in 1993 and her husband, Harry Glen Perry Jr., in 1994, to whom she was married on May 3, 1952.
Survivors include three daughters, Debbie Grace and Linda Miles, both of Shannon, and Glenda Perry of Calhoun; three sons, Thomas, John and Timothy Perry, all of Shannon; one brother, Joe Fowler (Janice), of Rosedale. Seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services for Mrs. Perry will be held Monday afternoon at 1 p.m. from the graveside of East View Cemetery with the Rev. Jimmy Timms officiating. Interment will follow in the family lot at East View Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Fred Talley's Parkview Chapel Funeral Home this evening from 7 until 9 p.m. and at other hours will be at the residence.
Fred Talley's Parkview Chapel Funeral Home has charge of the funeral arrangements.

Frank O. Powell
Frank O. Powell, 70, well known farmer of the Spring Creek Community, died Monday morning at 8:10 a.m. in a local hospital following an attack suffered at his residence Saturday. Mr. Powell, prior to moving to the Spring Creek Community 12 years ago, had made his home in the Euharlee Community in Bartow County.
Mr. Powell was born in Bartow County, February 23, 1889, son of the late Thomas H. and Americus Cornelia Cochran Powell. He was married to the former Miss Sallie Mae McKelvey, December 1914 who survives him.
Surviving in addition to the wife are two daughters, Miss Katherine Powell of Rome, Rte. 4, Mrs. John Lee of Toledo, Ohio; three sisters, Mrs. M. C. Kay of Rome, Misses Kate and Grace Powell, both of the Euharlee Community and two grandchildren.
  Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 3 p.m. from the chapel of the Daniel Funeral Home with the Rev. J. W. Tate, pastor of the Stewart Avenue Baptist Church of Atlanta, officiating with interment to follow in the family lot of the Euharlee Cemetery.
  The following will serve as pallbearers: Leon Burrell, Joe Dunaway, J. A. Lanier, Hoyt Baker, Gene Baldwin and H. B. Harris.
  The body will lie in state at the Daniel Funeral Home and the family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 till 9 p.m. Tuesday and other hours they will be at the residence Rome Rte. 4.
Daniel Funeral Home has charge of the funeral arrangements.
